Our Story

BE Creative started with two people who simply loved building things together.

The “BE” in BE Creative actually comes from our initials. We are a husband and wife team based in the Burlington and Oakville area, and every piece we create is designed and built by us right here in Ontario.

What began as a shared passion for woodworking and design slowly grew into something bigger. Friends and local businesses started asking for custom pieces, logo signs, nursery names, and unique wall art.

Before long, the workshop started filling up with projects and BE Creative officially came to life.

Today we focus on creating custom layered wood signs and one of a kind pieces that people are proud to display in their homes and businesses. From cafés and gyms to nurseries and home bars, every project is built with the same goal, to create something that looks beautiful on your wall and lasts for years.

Because we are a small local team, you are not dealing with a big company or ordering from a catalogue. You work directly with the people designing and building your sign. We help with the design, choose quality materials like maple, walnut, and other hardwoods, and finish each piece by hand.
