Why are the "BE" capitalized?

Behind Be Creative is a husband-and-wife team who truly love what they do. 
The capital “BE” is more than a name; it’s our initials and a symbol of the partnership that started this dream. 
Together, we turn simple wood into something meaningful for every customer.
It’s our way of showing that everything we create comes from a place of love, teamwork, and shared creativity.

How much do custom signs cost?

Every sign we create is completely custom, designed and built to reflect your unique style and story. Because each piece is handcrafted, pricing depends on the design, size, and materials you choose.
What truly matters to our customers isn’t the cost, it’s the care, creativity, and attention to detail that go into every build. Each sign is made to last and to feel personal, turning your vision into something you’ll be proud to display for years to come.
That being said, custom (not premade) signs start at $300 and can go as high as $1200 for the largest signs.
Most signs, especially for non businesses, will fall between $300-$800 depending on size and materials.

Can I order a sign with my business logo?

Absolutely. We love working with local businesses to create custom logo signs that bring your brand to life. A handcrafted wooden sign adds warmth and personality that no printed banner or plastic sign ever could.

Whether you’re opening a new shop, refreshing your storefront, or adding character to your office, we’ll work with you to create something that truly represents your brand and your community.

Why ask for budget? Do I have to answer?

Sharing your budget helps us recommend and design the best options for your project. That means choosing the right size, wood type, or design detail. 
It doesn’t mean we’ll “charge more” it just ensures we create something that fits your vision without wasting your time. 
For example, for projects that use red, padauk or bloodwood is the go to. Those woods cost quite a bit so, working with a lower cost material and staining/painting red may be a better option.
Whether your range is $100 or $500, we’ll let you know what’s possible and offer honest suggestions to stay within budget.

How long does it take to make a custom sign?

Typical turnaround is 2–3 weeks after design approval but is highly dependent on how busy we currently are.
Need it sooner? Let us know, rush orders may be available.

Question 7

Can I see the design before you build it?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Every custom order comes with a digital mockup for your review and approval before any sawdust starts flying!

Do you ship or offer local pickup?

Accepted Answer

Both! We offer local pickup/meetup in Burlington. Drop off is also an option and in most cases can be done free of charge in Burlington.
We can also ship but have zero control over shipping costs. While we can and have shipped signs all the way out to BC, shipping was nearly half the cost of the sign.

We will not ship to the US.

I don’t know exactly what I want. Can you help?

Definitely. Share your vision or inspiration and we’ll help design something custom within your budget.
Our best work has been done when we get "free reign" on your sign!

Question 10

Do you make man cave signs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we love them. From funny quotes to custom beer-themed signs to car logos or something that will get you in trouble with your wife, we’ll make something epic for your space. 
Ask the wifey first though because we won't take it back.

Can you do realtor gifts or wedding signs?

Yes! We make personalized signs perfect for closing gifts, bride & groom names, and more. Let us know what occasion you’re celebrating.

Question 12

What’s your return/refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Since each piece is made to order, we don’t offer returns. But if anything’s wrong, we’ll work with you to make it right.
We usually get to a point in the building process where it goes from a generic sign to custom and personally yours. At this point, we confirm everything before continuing. Your name/business/man cave is unique and personal to you. We can not resell custom signs.
